Short bio:

Ph.D. and Master's degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) with research lines in Cybersecurity. Member of the National Cybersecurity Committee (CNCiber - Brazil) with over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity. Professor at CESAR School with research lines in Threat Intelligence, Threat Detection, Process Mining, and Lead Researcher of the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) research line at the Embrapii CESAR Competence Center in Cybersecurity. Additionally, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) with research in Threat Intelligence with Machine Learning.

Abstract:

This presentation explores the research and advancements in threat intelligence, focusing on providing organizations with comprehensive insights into both known and unknown cyber threats. The research emphasizes the importance of integrating these elements to build a robust security framework that proactively addresses emerging cybersecurity challenges. Additionally, a review of the existing literature is employed to identify gaps in the current state of threat intelligence research, offering a pathway for future investigations and innovations in the field.
